Sick Rain and Movies

Home sick today. When will I learn not to overdo it?  Out-of-balance and completely in-my-head. Saw Joan Crawford in two movies in two days. Flamingo Road and Rain. It rained yesterday when I watched Flamingo Road.  It's sunny this morning when I watched Rain.  Joan Crawford is so compelling.  At once she repels and attracts. Such a great actress. I imagine her threatening her adopted daughter with wire hangers, going crazy at the drop of a hat, taking all her shit out on her daughter. I know what it's like to have a crazy mom.  At least mine has repented - and lives 3000 miles away.
