I took the DNA blood tests. True blue European-American, me. The only rogue trace of anything interesting is that I apparently do have Finnish ancestry. There are confused traces of other stuff like "Iberian" and "Caucasian" but they would be quite far back and apparently those are areas of "low confidence. One test said I have trace South Asian, which I fancy is some Gypsy-Roma ancestor. My mom (adoptive mom, so we're not related by blood) has a Yakut ancestor! It must have been someone on her mother's Jewish side who was sent to Siberia and ended up shacking up with a Yakut! In any case, that's the deal. Since I got fired from my old job (not just me, all the site IT folks) I tried some other stuff and now I'm in a program to teach English. I have a paper due tomorrow. I'm procrastinating. This is boring. I am going to hand in someone substandard but I don't care too much. I should just cut my losses, print and go to sleep. I want to start anew again. The next full moon...
